ONE WAY car rental needed

looking to drive from NY city area to Florida, one way car rental

any one know promos or discounts on how to do this? just need 4/5 day rental, drop off in Fl.

Back in November you can get some really good rates (the rental companies were moving cars south for the winter), but I do not think they are still available

Unless there is a special where they are intentionally moving cars South for holiday travel (winter), $180 is not out of line for a one way drop charge.

the car itself is $500 and then the dropoff charge

You could try National Rental Car. I have used them several times for one-way rentals although never New York to Florida.

The chances of finding a one way rental from NY to FL that's cheaper than flying are slim to none.
