Several points:

0. Book Disney resorts: avoid traffic + parking + early check in
1. Wake up around 6 am, breakfast and get ready for 7 am virtual line signup
1.1 Better to train your kid to refresh the phone
1.2 if missed, 1 PM will open again
2. Arrive at the park around 8 am if the early check in is 8:30 am. Better than 30 minutes than the early check-in
3. When 8:30 am, the gate open, pick your favorite ride with the feature of long-wait at peak
3.1 if the ride under testing and no open schedule (the crew will announce), don't wait and take another ride as you have to beat the crowd in 30 minutes early-check-in window...
4. Around 11:30 pm, order your favorite food and enjoy
5. noon to 3pm, it is too hot and very crowding in the park, better to ride back to the resort to take a nap and some water melon
6. 3 pm to park close, back to park, enjoy all rides and attractions and firework
