One Time Use Points - Why can't MS see what I see?

All,

I wanted to book a room for 18 OTU points. It was in inventory that "I saw" and less than 7 months out. I called and talked to 2 people from Member Services. BOTH agents, over an hour and a half apart, did not see the open room. Any idea why I saw it and they were unable to see the room? I used two different computers and signed into my account twice to view the room that they never saw.

**Please note, a manager at Member Services was eventually able to come up with a solution for me. I'm just curious why Member Services can't see what I see.**

I'm a newbie, haven't been able to book my Welcome Home call, so I'm on the struggle bus!

That happened to me once. I'd cancelled a different reservation and the banked/borrowed points hadn't been returned correctly. The CM took my word for it, returned the points as I needed them, then let me book. A few seconds for it all to catch up, then "there it is!"

It's so strange to me that both cast members never say it. Luckily, a manager trusted my word and let me buy the OTU points and book it myself. I was told that if it wasn't there, I would not be given a refund.
