I have 22 points left on one of my future years since I borrowed to book a cruise for DH and I. Looking around I can't do much with 22 points even local. :rotfl2:I could bank them, but if I can find something to do with them I'd just prefer to do that so are we able to purchase the one time use points even if they are going to be traded to RCI or is that only if we are booking something Disney?

I'm not sure of all the ins and outs, but maybe you could buy the one time use points and go for a weekend to WDW off season. There are some nightly RCI properties that would be around 22 points or so off season, but you would have to search them out.

The only reasonable approach is to either borrow to use them in their UY or to bank them and use them in the next UY. 22 won't do much by themselves and there isn't another option that will give you the value and flexibility that you have if you have them still as DVC points. The only other options I see as reasonable if to use them for a short stay at an RCI resort but you'll have a $95 exchange fee plus likely a housekeeping fee, roughly $150 plus the points. Even then you may have to borrow to make this happen. Single best option is to bank them and worry about it later where you'll still have all the options except banking again.
