One spoiled Yorkie!

My DH and I want to surprise my parents with a trip to WDW, but they have Yorkie who they will not board or leave with friends. Do any of the resorts allow small dogs?

none of the on sight WDW resorts are pet friendly. They do have 4 kennels throughout WDW but that doesn't sound like it would be an option for you.
Not sure about off sight options though.

I THINK there are a few RV sites at FW that allow pets...........otherwise no pets allowed on Disney property. The kennels do not feed or walk your pet and are only open certain hours.

I think you can bring dogs to the Universal Resorts, if your relatives wouldn't mind staying there instead. If you hop over to the Universal Resorts board, you could find out about it there. Our German Shephard always stayed home with a sitter, because she didn't eat when she had to go to a kennel. I don't think she would have been any better staying in a hotel room all day while we were out at the parks, but I did consider this option.

Yes, Lowes hotels at Universal at pet friendly (I think they even have pet room service options!), and those hotels are GORGEOUS! Disney doesn't have any pet friendly hotels, but I stayed at Royal Pacific in May and it's stunning, and much cheaper than a Disney deluxe (which is the equivalent).

I highly recommend it there, I think the Yorkie would love it!

We were at the S/D over Thanksgiving...and the in-room Westin TV channel stated that the Westin is now allowing dogs.

It made me wonder IF the S/D would eventually allow dogs. I hope so.

Certain campsites at FW allow dogs. Doesn't do me any good because I don't have a camper.

We took our spoiled rotten dog once - he stayed at the Kennel at MGM...we were staying at CBR so it was the closest. It was clean and adequate but they don't take them out - you have to. So, it does interrupt your day. We went to see him 3x a day to walk him.

Thank goodness - he now has a "babysitter" that he likes staying with.
