I wake up , my car is dead. My septic pump is dead too. What's next?

We just found a window smashed out of the van, the lawn mower died .... Must be a Penna. thing today, huh??

YIKES!! Y'all need some positive vibes coming your way. Goodness gracious, sad smilies on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. (Well, it's beautiful in Michigan, anyway).

Olga, I hope your car and septic pump are resuscitated soon.

Pam, too bad about the window, I hope your insurance covers most of the cost and you have a low deductible. Did your lawn mower pass away or is it just in a coma?

Pam , how about if I take the other car, pick you up and we run away someplace with warm sun?
I was actually lucky, the van started after I jump started it with dh's car , and it could be two things, either the alternator not charging or my kids playing with the buttons and leaving things on. I thought yesterday morning that I was having trouble but it started on the second try and it worked all day after that. Then this morning, dead dead! The battery is only 2 years old.
Then the septic pump, my backyard looks like a pool , aside from the torrential rain , the water tank is full. DH gets out to check it out when he gets around to it , we disconect the float and plug the pump directly, it's working fine. Picks up the float, the float somehow became unhooked from the pump, that's why I didn't go off. Now this is where I come in...., right now it's pumping all the excess water, when it goes down low enough, duct tape here I come!
Let's see what will happen tomorrow with the car, at least I have a battery charger , and believe me, I am handy with those things!
