One of my roommates really ticked me off

My internet connection suddenly quit working so I asked her what the problem was. She said it does that for about half an hour every morning (it hadn't done it to me before, but I believed her.) I got on the phone with the cable internet people and when they sent me to look at the modem, it turned out the modem (which is in her room) had been unplugged!!!! This girl asked me yesterday to make sure that I give her her phone messages (which I have been doing a pretty good job of even though she hadn't been giving me any of mine). GRRR...I'm so mad.

Just unplug some of her electrical devices

LOL...I'm tempted to either do that or have my other roommates move the modem from her room to mine.

Why wouldn't you have checked to see if the modem was plugged in before calling the Help Desk??

Because I would have thought she would have told me if she unplugged it but clearly she didn't have the consideration to do so. I made it very clear that I was trying to figure out whether the problem was with the modem or my computer, too.
