DD's Brownie troop decorated quilt squares and I put it together as a quilt. It was sold at a auction to raise funds for our school gym for $65. Woo hoo!
That is so nice.. I respect anyone who can sew and make things that are useable.
I do needlework, knit, crochet, but can I make something by sewing it to wear or use.. No way....Great job.... By the way, I think it is worth way more than $65.....
Great job to your Brownie troop! That is a wonderful idea to donate to a school auction.
Did you use fabric markers or crayons to decorate the squares?
My Brownie troop will start learning how to sew in January. We will be making a Troop quilt and I hope that by next year they will be skilled enough to make simple fleece quilts to donate to the local shelter.
How beautiful! I can't believe it only went for $65. I would have thought somebodies parent would have spent more!! Great job and you know, those girls looks so proud of it and will always remember making that craft!
Wow, that is so awesome Jeff. I am a quilter, so I know the work involved. LOL, especially a job where you are joining together other peoples work! Ie, not all squares of equal measurement line up perfectly, KWIM?
