One of my fondest childhood memories...

is waking up on Christmas morning at Fort Wilderness and finding that a stocking had been left on our trailer door. It's funny the things we remember. It was such a small thing, but to this day (30 some years later) and I still remember. I wonder, do they still do this??

The stockings are left each year by the otters while you sleep.
Its their way of making amends for all the beer stealing and terrorist acts they flick upon upon unsuspecting campers at the Fort.
