Seaworld's new Shamu show "One Ocean" premiers today for the first time at Seaworld Orlando! Anyone going?

I was there for the first show. It was jammed packed, and the 1:30 show had reached capacity before 1. The park was insanely busy and everyone wanted to see Shamu.
The show? It was GREAT.

The show was just OK to me. I guess I expected too much. The park was terrible today, Seaworld doesn't handle large crowds well at all.

ITA. It took us one hour just to get in the gate. We were not impressed.

Sorry to hear some of you didn't enjoy your visit. You have to expect large crowds on big days like this. Its that way with every theme park. I can't imagine how chaotic Universal was when Harry Potter land opened. Maybe the situation could have been handled better. Maybe Seaworld didn't expect large crowds like they should have. I'm sure it will get better tomorrow. As far as the show, I think its a nice replacement for Believe. Believe didn't work with trainers out of the water so I think Seaworld did the right thing by putting in a show that works with trainers out of the water. Hopefully water work is included in shows in the future but it's not ready yet, so I have to appreciate the effort that Seaworld put into this show.

I agree with the crowd levels...of course I really didn't have to deal with the crowds too much. We were wearing Blue Polo's and I can't tell you how many people came walking up to us asking how to get past the line and into see Shamu. Crowd levels at ALL Orlando parks yesterday were just bugnuts. We waited a while to get in, but we were there well before park opening. The first show was insanely packed, the 2nd show was at capacity almost an hour before showtime. I've heard the rest of the day was like that too. Crowd control wasn't handled really at all around the stadium, and it doesn't help that there are five entrances and they were all open....but, crowds aside. The show was great. It felt like old (before believe) shows. Lots of energy
