Where can I find the best discount for one night at the AKL in May? I just found a great rate on Expedia for savannah view bunk beds -- $100 less than what WDW quoted. Is that right? Anyone else ever use Expedia? What about AAA?
Thanks for your help :goodvibes

Is it a week day or week end night? If it is week day (Sun -Thur), I would think renting points from DVC members would be the cheapest way to go.

I find renting points is cheaper for a villa (st, 1brm, or 2brm), but it works out the same whe you try to get a standard room.

We will be staying on a Friday night... never rented points before. I suppose that is something to look into.
Thanks :goodvibes

Disney is offering room only discounts now for that time period, but if you don't click on special offers (on the Disney website), the rate you get quoted will NOT reflect any discount.

It looks like the Expedia site has those discounts loaded. The standard room rate they show, is exactly the same as the room only discount I received from Disney. :)

Gatorlady.. Thank you Thank you Thank you :thumbsup2 I am going to go ahead and book tonight :cool1: I feel better booking with WDW b/c the cancellation policy is better than expedia.

Can't wait

You are very welcome! :goodvibes

If you call, rather than go online to book, the code for the discount listed on the website is "RYD".

I disagree about therental points....a value room during value season is 9 poinys. an avg price for renting 9 points would be 90 dollars(also no tax on point rental) it does require more points by view and season, but is comparable. Never would you get an AKV room for that price thru CRO
