Well, the wife and I are going to get a Fairy Godmother for one night (Sunday, October 16th) and are trying to decide where to eat.

Our plans are to have the sitter show up around 6 pm and then we could leave. We wouldn't have to go straight to dinner though. We have to book the sitter for a minimum for 4 hours and will probably stay out until midnight.

We plan to dine somewhere nice and then go to Pleasure Island.

Before everyone starts clammoring for Victoria & Alberts let me just say that we've eaten there, it was great, but once was enough for us. It's not an option.

The poll indicates our choices but if you think we are missing something please share it.

Edit: Yes, we will have a car.

Do you have a car or are you depending on Disney Transportation? I wouldn't waste precious time traveling.

I chose none of these because I noticed you had Chefs of France on your list but not Bistro de Paris. I think Epcot France would be a great choice, but I'd go with Bistro instead of Chefs

Well, depending on your tastes.... Our favorites from your list are Shula's and Flying Fish. We just had dinner at FF last Saturday, and it was great as usual. We generally stay at BWV and FF is very convenient. We ate at Shula's this past March and it was excellent. They each have different specialties, so that is why I say "depending on your tastes". It comes to meat or fish. The ambiance is also different. FF is very open and modern decor. Whereas Shula's is a darker and split up into several different rooms.

I think going to a restaurant outside of a park is better for a relaxing meal. I tend to sit down more relaxed when I don't have to go thru bag check and the gate to get to my meal.

I've never eaten at France before. Is the Bistro the place to eat?

Of the options, the only one I wouldn't choose is Chefs de France it's not on a par with your other choices. We keep saying we'd like to try Bistro de Paris, but we never seem to get around to it. A current must do each trip is bluezoo at the Dolphin.
