One night.. one dinner in Downtown Disney?

I was able to move my flight time up 4hrs and we will arrive in time for dinner. We are staying at OKW and would enjoy a quiet boat ride to DtD... 4 adults (us celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary, friends celebrating their 30th!!). Not too expensive as we leave the next day for FLL for a cruise on Monday! Any suggestions? Our flight will be in around 5pm... then the bus to OKW.. so I am looking at least 7:30 or 8pm for dinner. My friend REALLY wants to relax and swim for the night so maybe dinner right there in OKW and then do lunch in DtD?

If you want something less formal (and thus not too expensive), we often enjoy lunch at Earl of Sandwich. The sandwiches are great. It's VERY casual. Cafeteria style. I have also heard good things on this board about Wilfgang Puck's two spots in DTD. I think there is a casual eatery and a sit down place (that is still less formal).

We like to go to Bongos Cuban Cafe and sit at the bar and order a couple of appetizers for dinner. It's fun - and it depends if you like Cuban Food. As far as sit down dinners go, we have only sat for a "formal" dinner at Bongos, but I know people on this board enjoy Raglan Road (Irish Pub) as well as Fulton's Crab House (which I have read is expensive - I do not like Seafood, so that's a no-go for me!)

For something more casual, I would suggest Raglan Road or House of Blues. If you want something a little nicer, check out Wolfgang Pucks, or Portabello's.

If you want to stay at OKW, Olivia's is very good as well.

DD and I love Wolfgang Puck's less expensive TS restaurant. I never remember which is called what! The portions are large and very good. Cooke's of Dublin is a good CS for lunch.

We really enjoy Raglan Road. We have also had nice meals at Olivia's at OKW...Have fun!

I've ate at Bongos a few times and have always enjoyed it. The menu at Raglan Road looks very good as well...but I haven't been there myself, YET.

I am going to have to go look at menus and pick between Raglan Road and Wolfgang pucks!! And I have to see if our friends want to just hang at the resort or go out!
