Hey guys!
So this December my DH and I are planning to take our first non-kid trip to The World. It's a short trip, just 3.5 days, and for 3 of those we'll be at the Contemporary in a CL room.
However, the first night we're planning on getting in around 7:30pm, which means we'll probably be to the resort around 9ish.
I've narrowed it down to 2 resorts- The Yacht Club, or AKL.
Pros and Cons:
YC: LOVE the decor, atmosphere, and Epcot location. BUT without going too far, our only option for food that night is the Yachtsman. We ate there on our last trip and had a pretty horrible experience, so I'm not sure I can talk DH into going back. Especially with the price tag.
AKL: Really was hoping to save our first trip there until we had the kids with us, and it's really far away from anything else, since we're not planning on an AK day at all. However, all three restaurants are on our to-do list, and we could knock two of them off by staying there, Jiko for dinner and Boma the next morning for breakfast.
I just can't decide which side I want to go with. Anyone have an opinion?
