One more week and we find out if she won!

Not sure if you remember me posting way back at the beginning of the summer, but my daughter won that contest of the best kids in Vancouver, and they chose 7 kids - one of the 7 gets a trip to Disneyland and Seaworld. We find out in about a week if she won! Please cross your fingers and say a little prayer for us! Its been a horrible summer with us being in a car accident, insurance saying my car was only worth 600 bucks (ok...it was... ) and just trying to make ends meet while getting used to public transit. I would LOVE for her to win this - she really needs it!

Thanks for the prayers! Yes, we DO deserve it. Not saying the other kids don't, but we really do (although the one kid has a 2nd home in San Francisco.....so he may deserve it, but doesn't need it. LOL).
I just got an email from the people running this contest and we have to go on the 2nd, and all 7 kids will be there and they will announce the winner.
Sounds so cruel doesn't it? Line up 7 kids and give one a trip to Disneyland. I know my daughter will be choking back the tears, but will also be a good sport about it. Heck....I will be choking back tears if she doesn't win, but probably still bawl my eyes out if she does win! LOL.
I will report back and let you know if we are heading to Disneyland - then you can all help us pick the perfect time of year to go!

OMG....I can't believe they are going to line all 7 kids up and only one gets the prize. Oh dear.........I hope they give the other kids something else if they don't get the big prize. How cruel.
