What happens to my mom who is in a wheelchair needing a TSA pat down while I'm going through the regular scanner if I'm the only one with her? I'll be placing backpacks down on the conveyor for inspection and some loose items, too. I'll be collecting everything when I'm done with my TSA scanning process. Then, I'm thinking I'll probably need to empty my backpack for some reason, too. I have so much in these two backpacks that I'm thinking I'll be required to have further inspection with them.
I'm concerned I'll be separated from my mom and I know she will be scared if that happens.
What do you do when you have to go through separate security procedures and you don't have a third party? Can she be with me until I'm done and then I take her in for her pat down? How does this exactly work?
As you can tell I'm still very nervous about the TSA security. I'm trying to avoid an extra trip to the airport to see how all this works.
Thanks again.
