One more skater before Sasha Cohen! Spoiler Alert!

I'm sorry, but why does NBC have to have a picture of Sasha falling on one of her jumps on their website already? :( Do they have to just focus on the bad? She won a silver medal for pete's sake!

well, Irina also can be inconsistent.

It will be interesting to see it on tv, but in a way it looks kind of like 2002 - excellent short programs and then major blow-ups during the Free Skate.

Sasha is a very very lucky girl. I feel bad for Irina. What happened?

Thanks to the OP. That was a nice way to spend a boring afternoon at work. The best part is I get to see it Live later too!!!

Sasha skated a beautiful program. Just look at the scores. The new scoring system saved her butt and it just proves what a good system it can be (when it works in your favour!!!)

I just wish someone would get rid of that misleading post on the CB.

Thanks! I have music practice at Church tonight, so I wont be able to see the real thing. At least I know what happened now! They will replay the skating late tonight.

you may be right about Michelle Kwan, although she also fell during the 2nd program in 2002. The nerves must be a terrible thing to battle out there.

I'm really shocked that a 125 in the Free Skate won Olympic Gold.

I thought it was beautiful that the Japanese skater won the country's one and only medal of these Olympics and it was gold!

I liked Sasha better (and would have prefered our Canadian lady to be on the podium) but the girl who won deserved it.

The Russians almost had a figure skating sweep.
