One more question?

I had asked before about POP becaus we normally do CBR. Now my new question..... Since this trip we are going to do some other things such as seaworld and universal and visit some friends in St.Augustine, my DH now wants to stay off site atthe Holiday Inn in a kids suite. Does anyone know about this Hotel and the Kids suites? I would really appreciate it! My DH is driving me crazy!!!!!! Constantly changing his mind!

We went and looked at a room. My brother and his family stayed there last year and they really liked it. It is nice but we prefer to stay onsite. If I wasn't staying onsite then I would seriously look at staying at HIFS. Hope this helps.

If you have kids, this resort will be loved by them. (I have 5 and all of mine preferred HIFS to Dixie (POR) and Beach Club Do a search of the board, and you will get a lot of opinions. Just watch out for ONE poster, he paid deluxe rates and then complains that it is NOT a deluxe resort. That said, it is a fine resort. Great pool, good games, amenities such as 3 tvs, cd players, microwave, fridge, coffeepot, bar sink, my favourite-locked master bedroom , a separate room for the kiddos, free breakfast-not haute cuisine, but absolutely perfect for a family-on and on. The hotel is well-situated and easy to get to wherever you want. We would definitely spend time there again. . .but especially if we had little ones (under 12).

It's a great resort for kids!

Check rates online, and check a few ways even though they claim the best prices are by booking direct I saved $50 a night using the link from the Google search engine. Also call and ask for the Entertainement rate (this may be gone) and the Dinner package special (gives you a $25 credit for food each night), this is a promotion to get people to look at their 'new' Nick stuff.

Thank you all very much for the info! I was asking about the Holiday Inn Maingate. I will also look into this hotel too! But if anyone has any info or opinions on the HIMaingate that would be appreciated thank you!!!
