One more question....(Sierra Suites LBV)

Has anyone stayed at the Sierra Suites in LBV? It is $54 a night with two queen beds and a full kitchen plus a complimentary breakfast each morning and shuttle service to WDW? Sounds too good to be true. Plus there's a virtual tour and it really doesn't look bad.

I haven't stayed there for a few years, but when I did it was a decent place. My sister and b-i-l stayed there about 2 years ago and liked it then. The only complaint they had was that the pool was small. Otherwise, the room was nice and they really liked having the fridge.

Hi there! I'm looking at this place too. Where did you get your rates? The rates I've found for Nov. 28 till Dec. 10th are $53.28 for the studio suite - and $61.05 for the family suite..

Which one is your $54 rate for? Sounds - and looks like a nice place!

Found them on Expedia. They are for both - I believe $1.00 difference. We are going 9/10 through 9/13.

We have stayed at Sierra Suites LBV twice, most recently in April of this year, and would recommend it. Rooms are squeaky clean, staff is very friendly/helpful and location is extremely convenient.

As someone else said, the pool is small but, again, very clean. There is also a hottub.

Thank you, Cofey. You know, it's amazing how many different opinions you can get. I posted this on another board and they said it was dirty, service was awful, would never go there again. Sometimes I just don't know what to believe. Can you tell me how far it is from DTD? I think we will probably stay there. Thanks again for your info.

Hi Kemi,

Wow! That's amazing that their experience was so different from ours. I think there are two Sierra Suites in Orlando. Maybe they stayed at the other one? We have stayed at LBV twice and had a good experience both times.

Anyhoo, the Sierra LBV is about 5-10 minutes from Downtown Disney. It is about 5 minutes to the Downtown Disney parks entrance, then, probably, another 5 minutes from there.
