one more question - RE: seasons

If our check in date is 29 September (8 nights) does the entire stay fall under the Adventure season? (Adventure - 1-30 Sep -- Choice 1-31 Oct)

(I am assuming yes since the regular packages are like that - if there is a seasonal rate increase after your arrival date, the package cost is still based on the rate for when you checked in.)

Thanks - I think that's all the questions I have until I'm ready to actually request points.

DVC does not work that way. Each night is charged based on the actual date. The points system has to stay in balance. Theoretically, the total points available equals every room being full for the year.

DebbieB is correct...DVC timeshare lodging on points can't be compared to cash rooms at hotels. Apples and oranges. If you stay for two nights in adventure season and six nights in choice season, the DVC member will be charged in points for two nights in adventure season and six nights in choice season, not eight nights in adventure season.
