One more question about lyrics...

I know that this has been asked before.... I searched and didn't get my answer. I need the lyrics to the Jammin Jungle Parade. I KNOW that I should be able to find them at allearsnet.com, right? I know she has had the lyrics to SpectroMagic on her site... but now I can't find any lyrics. Am I being a dope? Any help out there? THanks..............P

I was searching for these also. So far I must be Googling the wrong terms because this is the closest I've come - it's a response to the same question on another board:
"I know this is way late, but I can tell you that two of the songs used in the parade are "Iko Iko" (made famous by Dr. John) and Jorge Ben's "Ma(i)s Que Nada." The Dr. John song is just freaky patois, I think (lol)...and the Ben song is in Portuguese."

YES, YES, YES!! I still need them. I've been sitting here watching/listening to the parade on a website that Dan Murphy provided and trying to write down the words! Whatever you can provide would be MUCH appreciated!! I finished the page and left a nice big journaling block to include the song lyrics... not sure what I would have done with that space if I couldn't come up with the lyrics!! "When asked to bring Mickey and the gang to Disney's Animal Kingdom in a new parade, my first question was "Why are they there?" Wandering the park for inspiration, I realized the answer was quite clear. With that in mind, "Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade was created.

Yes I am just such a sweetie! I did,and seriously thanks for the compliment! But it wasn't that much of an ordeal since I have most of it memorized I just had a few blanks to fill in. This is one of my favorite songs and if I'm in a bad mood I put it on and it always helps! But the other songs - languages I don't speak so I just make it up!! And I like the idea of putting the words in the scrapbook - I think that'll be neat by the parade pics.

I think the words will go nicely for the LOs as well. You said you had words for the other parades except Specto....do you have for Main St Electric? I'd love to have those if you do!

BTW - I finally found the lyrics DisneyFreakJackie had wanted. It wasn't Jammin Jungle - it was for Share A Dream Come True. (Well I was close anyway. )

It's "Magic in the Streets Parade Memories" and has Share a Dream Come True Parade, Disney Stars and Motorcars Parade Medley, and Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade, then a few extras from WDW. We got it at the Emporium - this was pre-AP days and I thought it was kind of expensive, I think around $25. I don't know if they sell it at World of Disney. We also got SpectroMagic and Wishes. I love to listen to them in the car.

We love that music from Spectromagic! It kind of gives me goosebumps when I hear the music starting when I'm at the parade!

Hmmm, I don't know...I'll pop it in and listen. There's a lot of medelys (sp?) on it so maybe that is all there is for the new part.

Nope don't have the ELP...I just heard it on ParkHopper radio the other day though! That brought back memories! I worked there when that was running and did a lot of parade crowd control. I was sad when they cancelled it because I wanted DH and DD to see it but was thrilled when we saw SpectroMagic!!
