One more night at the Poly??

Ok. Here's my dilemma. We are doing a split stay this time at Disney World. We're dividing up our time between an off property hotel and Disney's Polynesian. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should spend an extra night at the Poly, or saving the $$ for more souvenirs. Any advice?

I would spend it on an extra night at the Poly. My wife and I love this resort. We try and get to Ohana and dine each trip we make to WDW. We are not big souvenir buyers. We normally just get one item each and it's usually a t-shirt, coffee mug, cap something small. Disney gets all our money from the resorts we choose, dinning, horse drawn carriage rides, character meals when our son was much younger, things like these.

At the moment 2 nights Poly and 5 nights off site. I'm starting to lean more towards another night at the Poly though. I've got so many souvenirs from Disney and I can always find these souvenirs at a later date for the most part.

I always thought that one should stay at least three nights at a resort. Otherwise it seems like you just checked in and now are already leaving.

Hear me now, believe me Tom Morrow: you will regret you did not save up enough for a longer stay at the Polynesian at least enough to cover the days you intend to visit the MK and EPCOT. ALOHA COUSIN! It has taken me 25 years to finally book my dream stay in the CR tower for 3 days which covers 2 MK visits and half my Epcot visits, but I've stayed twice before at PR for no less than 4 nights which seemed WAY NOT ENOUGH! (Sigh!)
