Okay we've done May, June and October at DL but this year we've been forced to go during mid July. We're use to it being a little chilly in the evening in the past. Does this still hold true in the true summer months?

N, if anything it is lovely in the evening in July. I doubt you'd even need a sweater. Pack one just in case though.

We are going mid-July too. We went in August last year. I bought a sweatshirt but never needed it. I probably won't pack one and will have a good excuse to buy one if I get cold.

DH and I went last mid July and didn't need any sort of sweatshirt or anything. It was lovely in the evenings. :cloud9: We really enjoyed the temps when we came back at about dinner time to use our FP's.

we went august 8-12 last year and it was unusually "cool" in the evenings. i am the type that always packs a sweatshirt "just in case." we DIDN'T that time and had to make a trip to character warehouse.

i would much rather have it and not need it...than not have it and need it!! :thumbsup2

Bring your jacket but leave it in the hotel unless you see unseasonably cool weather. I have been the past few July's and it has been hot. HOT, hot, HOT! I don't want to scare you, but it's been hot. Record setting heat one year. Evening was a welcome releif from the heat, and very pleasant.

Its funny because I looked today and it was 90 here in KC and at the same time it was 68 in Anaheim.

Long time lurker first time poster here!! So I thought I would chime in

I went to DL in July before and it was during the 48th anniversary of the park. That summer it was really really hot. We got sunburned and wore shorts all day. For me I have never packed a jacket when I went to DL unless it was in the winter months. If you are really concerned about the weather then bring a jacket and leave it in the room!

Last year (June 28 - July 5) it was chilly at night.

And I only brought shorts and short-sleeved shirts. :cold: :cold: :cold:

I would bring a pair of long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a light jacket or sweatshirt. I'd rather have it and not need it... :thumbsup2

HTH :earsboy:

Welcome tinkerbowler! as a fellow oregonian it's great to see you on the boards.

Yeah I think I will force the family to bring a some jeans just in case. Hoping it won't be too crowded my week but expecting the worse. This vacation for us is going to be relaxing and going at a leisurely pace.....that's so not me:rotfl2:
If there was ever going to be a pictures of someone that loves to go commando at the parks it would be me.
