My cousin and I are planning on taking our kids back to Hershey (we went together before and had a great time) this June.

Planning on going on Sunday, June 13th and going to the park on Monday. What are the crowds like then? Still early enough to be ok?

We'll do the Sunday eve. preview, then hits the parks from opening until 2-3pm, eat, then drive home. Leaning toward staying at SpringHill Suites. Last trip we stayed at Hershey Lodge (on a great deal - two rooms for the price of one!), but the hotel felt a little tired to me.

The kids will be 5, 5, and almost 3 (but still two so she'll be free!), myself, my cousin, and I think my mom (senior rate :thumbsup2 plus I'll buy all the tix thru DH's Working Advantage program for discount).

A little trip to hold me over until WDW again, hopefully this November!

I think the crowds should be fine. We always enjoy going to Hershey before July 4th because we feel it isn't too full. I think enough kids will still be in school at this time keeping crowd levels down. I live in the neighboring town to Hershey and students here don't get out of school until June 10. Other local districts may still be in school on June 14. Enjoy! We love Hersheypark! :thumbsup2

Thanks to snow days getting tacked onto the end of school, that is still a school day for us (a district within 35 min of Hershey.)

Make sure you double-check the tickets before buying. Working Advantage is $13 off, I think. Sometimes before July 4th Giant Food Stores has discounts that might beat that as they toss in the parking voucher with the ticket. Parking is $9-10 a day, I think (I am an AP holder so I get free park, so I can't exactly recall).

Subway has coupons for $14 off in May, $12 off in June.

Also, with kids, 5,5, and 3 you really should consider Dutch Wonderland over Hershey. MUCH better local park for that age. Also, I'd find time to hit Cherry Crest Adventure Farms and Lake Tobias while in the area with these age kids. Subway in Central PA has $2 off Dutch W. coupons.
