I want to add one more and possibly drop Coral Reef (the kids liked it, the adults weren't impressed). I was looking at Yak & Yeti or Tusker House Buffet. Which one? Are either too much like one of our other choices? Also, when we do CRT, I was thinking about sending DSS and DH somewhere else (they sat through it in '07). I need ideas of someplace else really cool in MK or a nearby resort for a teenage boy and his father. TIA

tusker house is GREAT.....its good, normal food....but with an african flair

we really liked yak and yeti. the theming inside is very pretty and exotic and the food was a little different from than your usual park fare. plus the menu was pretty broad.

From what I have read, Tusker House sounds like it's similar to Boma's (just less variety than Boma). Since you're already going to Boma's you may want to try Yak & Yeti.

As for other places in MK area for DSS and DH, we like Liberty Tree Tavern. I believe they are no longer doing the character meals, so they may be interested in this. Other than LTT, we tend to avoid sit down meals at MK.
For the nearby resorts, Kona's (Poly) has good food and many people like Whispering Canyon (WL).

Are you on the dining plan? Yak n Yeti is pretty expensive OOP but a good deal on the dining plan.

And for DH and DSS, I think Ca Grill, a monorail ride from MK, is a great choice.

We liked the Tusker House breakfast!

The Wave was good for dinner, don't know about breakfast. Kona Cafe has the Tonga Toast at breakfast. Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL, I have heard is good.

whispering canyon is good food, and has some interactive staff entertainment along the lines of 50s Prime time.
