I'm driving myself nuts trying to decide on our last reservation. I am torn between Crystal Palace Dinner, a Fantasmic Dinner Package (hopefully at Mama Melroses), or Ohana Dinner. I have toyed with the idea of Park Fair for the character dinner but we are already doing CRT. It will be me, my husband and 3 girls ages 2,4 & 6.
I have Ohana booked right now but all I could get was at 7:15 pm which I am afraid is a little late. I think this would be fun though.
I am also considering canceling BOMA which I have wanted to do for years. I have been reading bad reviews lately. We did Tusker house last time and loved it. Is this similar? If I did cancel Boma we could do 2 of the above options.
Here is what we are doing already:
CRT Breakfast
Chef Mickeys Breakfast
Hoop Dee Doo
Boma
Marakesh (my hubby's request)
I am also a little concerned that almost all of our meals are buffets.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
I personally think you can't go wrong with buffet's (especially in Disney)when you have little one's, this way you KNOW they are getting what they want, and the food at most buffets in Disney are outstanding...especially compaired to any place else outside of Disney. Besides little one's love to pick what they eat as I'm sure you well know by now.

As for me and what I would pick out of all of these places....I would go with your instincts to do 1900 Park Fare, this place has it going on when it comes to buffet's, breakfast or dinner! When my family went to WDW in May of 07 we had 1900 on our ressies for breakfast and dinner, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of the trip. Who knew! lol
We had breakfast there the very first day and we couldn't wait to come back for dinner in a few days!

Oh and incase you wondering what can you get there that you didn't get at CRT, the wicked Step Mother and Sister are there, as well as Cindy and the Prince...from what I hear the Prince isn't seen anywhere else besides the parades and CRT, but I don't think you get time with him at CRT if I remember right.
Be sure to call the Step Sisters-The Wicked Step Sisters and see what they do. lol They can put on quiet a show!

You can't go wrong here on both counts, food and characters. With your little ladies I'm kinda surprised that you aren't doing more characters...this will certainly take care of that.
You can always do a breakfast for a TS too, Crystal Palace has a great breakfast and if you get the first morning time then you can come into the park before it "opens" and than this way you'll have most of Main St. all to yourself, and then you can also get a pic infront of the Castle without the crowds.

Crystal Palace is soo pretty, and your babies will love seeing Pooh, Piglet and the gang! Breakfast is pretty amazing there too, this place and 1900 Park have the best breakfast buffet in all of WDW hands down.
I think Ohana's might be lost on the little one's, but then you know what they like and don't like.
Mama's isn't to bad or to great either, just stick with the steak or the pizza. :O)
As for Marakesh, if it's all about the ambience and belly dancers for the DH then by all means go, but if it's about the food I would recommend Tangierine Cafe instead, the food is soooo much better there than in the resturant, and you actually get quiet a lot of food for your money, oh and refills on your soda-always a bonus if you drink it.

This is actually my fav. counter service place besides Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion in Epcot for all of WDW.
As for Boma's and Tusker being close to the same, I think SOME things are very similiar but hands down I don't think you will find Tusker and Boma's should even be compaired. Boma's ROCKS and it IS to be experienced! I don't know how anyone can complain about this place unless different foods weren't their thing to begin with....but even then I don't see how someone can still complain since there are so many choices for normal fare. Personally if people are complaining over lack of something good to eat, they just didn't try, there are SOOO many choices that even if you find some things not be your taste... then there are sooo many other great things to pick from!
Boma's is NOT a place for you to miss again!!!!

Besides, Mama needs to eat at the place she's always wanted to try.

Sorry so long. Hope I helped.
Be blessed and have an amazing time with your family.
