One last newbe question

I've posted several times so far, and have gotten exceptional advise. My last question: Once you are in the system, can you book online, or do you have to call MS? If you can book online, can you purchase add-ons on line? I should be ready to book as soon as my closing happens. Can't wait to be told "welcome home" for the first time (even though akl always told us that before we joined DVC)

There currently is not an on-line booking system. You have to either call or use a form on the member website to send an e-mail request.

There is no online DVC booking system at the present time. They have been promising one for several years.

There is a reservation request form on the member website...basically an email...which works well IF you are not trying to book a particularly busy resort/room type/travel timeframe, but generally it is better to call.

DVC does not sell via an online site, as they are not authorized to sell DVC in all states or countries. Most locations can purchase add-ons by calling your guide. Some states and locations require you to purchase while visiting Florida or California.

to me it would be great to type in your id number, and see what was available, rather than waste a CM's time. Maybe someday!

Yes! That would be perfect. Then you could call in and have every thing you need, and it would save everyone time.
