Ok guys i have all my ADRS set, but we just decided to leave a day early for our trip so we'll have one day to relax and rest before we start hitting the parks. We'll arrive around noon, and what we are looking for is :

#1 a sit down restaurant
#2 not in a theme park
#3 something that we cant get @ home
#4 not a buffet
#5 only one TS credit

thanks in advance

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

O'hanas
Whispering Canyon = a little on the loud side though
Cape May = seafood
Citricos

I know you said no buffet, but one of our favorite unique meals with a good atmosphere is BOMA!

Don't know where you live (and therefore don't know what you can get at home) but my choice with this list would be Spoodles!

I have to echo this sentiment. Boma would be my absolute first choice! However, I excluded it because you had said, "no buffets".

(Citricos is 2 credits.)

How about Kona? We LOVE it. It is just fabulous. Great way to start your trip (so is 'Ohana by the way) and a great way to start with the DDP since the appetizers are so yummy. Have fun choosing! :goodvibes

Yes - I'd agree about a monorail resort. Riding the monorail is fun in itself! It'll give you that real "we're here!" feeling.

Kona is great, as is Narcoossee's at GF.

I'd have more to offer if I knew where you were staying!

My vote is for Spoodles, though I'm dying to try Kona myself the next time we go. It gets so many rave reviews here, how can I not?

I would go to House of Blues in Downtown Disney, Kona at the Poly or Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge

Another Spoodles fan

In DTD we're trying Capt Jacks for DHs lobster fix;) .

Surpised that Planet Hollywood was good last Oct. - much improved over last visit.

Kona or Ohanna, Kona's atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the food is wonderful!!! Ohannas is amazing too!! Atmosphere is better and the food is all you can eat and let me tell you I am a foodie and it was great!!! Get the Lapu Lapu it is great, just one though its made with 151!!! they serve it at the bar too!!!

DOOOOO NOTTTTTT do Capt Jacks it is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think 'Ohana would be a great place to go on your first night. Try to get a seat by the window. Theres nothing like a view of the castle to get you in the Disney mood:woohoo: Maybe you can catch wishes while you are there.

My second choice would be Whispering Canyon.

Terri

My first suggestion would be Kona and Spoodles second depending on what area you are looking to be near.
