One extra day in Orlando, looking at Universal resorts

Hello from Norway
Sooooo.. we were supposed to fly into Orlando on October 29, but our flight got canceled and we were (thankfully) rebooked to October 28
Instead of flying into Orlando, we now fly into FLL, but we get bus transfer from FLL to Orlando
We have resort/hotels from October 19 at Marriot Grande Vista
Since we now need a extra day, we are looking into maybe staying at one of the Universal Orlando resorts

Wondering about Endless summer resort or Cabana Bay, would one of these be a good choice for one night?
We need safe, okey standard and nice hotels, not the most expensive ones

I love both of those hotels! If you just need a place to crash, Endless Summer is good. It's cheap, clean, and only opened a few years ago, while still giving you the on property perks. If you plan to spend more time at the hotel, Cabana Bay is good. They've got a great pool and bowling! It's a little older, but the theming is more fun.
