One Disney trip equals how many scrapped pages?

My DH put me up to this. For a Disney trip I generally scrap around 15 - 20 pages (although I haven't done most trips yet). He feels that this is too many pages for one trip, and that nobody has that many pages for a single Disney trip. I disagree. So, he suggested that I post this question and see what you all have to say...

I easily do more than that for a week-long trip. In fact, DH and I went alone (without our 3 kids!:p ) in May for a 4-day getaway -- I just went and counted the pages from that trip and I did 22! Now, take into account that my husband hates his picture taken and we had no kids with us -- can you imagine how many I do with a family of 5 for a week??!!:teeth:

Our disney honeymoon turned into a complete book. It's not completely full but thinking about the pages I know I have at least 28. And there were places I didn't see and plenty of photos that "should have been" so I think it is EASY to have that many pages!

How about 2 books worth? I'll have to go and do the count.
To me there is never enough!!

I'm going for 2 weeks but I'd like to use one CM book with 30 pages. I'm not sure how many more I'd be able to fit. 30 pages still doesn't seem enough to me for 2 weeks.

That only allows me 3 pages each for MK, AK, Epcot, MGM, Sea World, Universal and a page a peice for others, like:
*a countdown chain
*on the road
*south of the border (a stop along the way)
*the beach
*our home away from home
*being lazy around the house for a day
*downtown disney, etc. etc.

Who knows what else we will do for those 2 weeks.

How many pages would I reasonable be able to fit in a CM book?

I thought you could put 3 - 4 packages of pages into a CM book.

I'm at work and don't know my count for our Disney trips but I do know I have 25 rolls to put in to my CM Disney trip book. Who knows how many pages that will be.

My last trip, I had more than 50 pages. Just a note - I trimmed very close and put 6-10 pictures per page and even more for the parades.

The first trip I've done (there are some in "traditional" albums prior to this one waiting to be officially scrapped!) was two large books. Probably 35 pages - both sides so I call that 70. The second was about the same. I do have one that was a 4 day just my daughter and I with her best friend and friend's mom that is only 1 book about that length.

We usualy go for two weeks and I end up filling a cm book with refills so I think this is 60 pages or so?

Then again I only get about three to four months worth of regular pictures in our family book.

ok, so I guess now I know why I am so far behind. LOL

Thank you all so much for your replies! I'm going to tell DH to read them. He always tells me that I take way too many pictures on trips, which is why I have too many pages to scrapbook, which is why I'm years behind! He does have a point - but I'm not going to change my ways now!!!

OHMYGOSH!!! I just counted ours from our 2000 trip and it's 51 pages in a 12x12 album!! I didn't realize it was that much! I bought 15 rolls of film and 1 album for our next trip. We're staying longer so maybe I should have purchased a 2nd album...:o

1 week trip - - - 49 pages in a 8 1/2 x 11 AND 96 pages in a 12 x 12 album.

It varies for me...it depends on how many good shots I get! :) Usually one book per trip, but I usually end up adding pages...I do 12 x 12 books and usually can get about 30 pages in one book, so it averages about that...:)

Our trip coming up in December will be a cruise plus Dis Con, so I am figuring two books for that alone! :)

Well, mines still in PROGRESS, but our 10 day Millenium - December 2000 trip has 38 pages (8.5 x 11); and another 17 more planned SO FAR!!!! I've had folks tell me I put ALOT of pictures on a page compared to some scrappers. So, I guess I SHOULD have MORE!!! LOL

That's 55 so far. And there's more pictures that will either go in regular album sleeves in between or will get scrapped some how.

There are also plastic zippered pencil pockets (from kids school supply department that go in 3 ring binder) that hold misc memorabilia. I LOVE USING THESE. They hold tons!!

I just bought a 3" D-ring album. I HOPE IT ALL FITS!!!!!

Our usual six day trip equates to 30 12X12 scrapped pages. I usually put 3-4 pics per page - I have an APS camera so I get 4X7 prints.

I have a complete album for each trip (5 so far) and they average about 35 pages (front and back).

The 8 1/2 x 11 album that Disney sells with the castle on it comes with 40 pages, which makes 80 for viewing, so they already know you will need that many!

I have one trip that I've done 45 pages for, and I could probably do a bunch more if I didn't have other stuff I wanted to work on more! Heck, I did a 28-page album of a trip that was only 2.5 days!

I'm new to the Dis Boards but Disney and scrapbooking are two of my favorite things so this is the perfect forum for me.

As a WDW is a cross country adventure for my family it definitely gets it's own album. The last 1 week trip was good for 15 rolls of film and 30 page spreads (60 pages). The next trip, in October, might be even more as we are going for the Food and Wine Festival and the Disney Martial Arts Festival.

We go to Disneyland so often (about twice a month) that each trip is only good for one page spread, and that's only if we are going for something special such as meeting friends at Goofy's Kitchen, seeing a concert at DCA, checking out holiday decorations, etc.

The album for our first trip in 2001 (2 weeks) was stopped at 35 page protectors (so 70 sides), because I can't get another one in the album, that's one of those disney 4 parks albums.

I have about 200 disneyland paris photo's waiting ot be scrapped and that was a 4 day trip! and probably 30 pages for our last 2 week trip which I haven't started yet.
