One day- which side first??

One day two parks-- we will have to hurry.

2 of us will go on lots of coasters and things at IOA, all of us will like alot of the stuff at US (not all of us the frantic rides).

My first thought is US in the morning, eat, then IOA. In terms of avoiding lines and the vomit factor, should we do IOA first, eat, then US?

Am considering the express pass but not sure we will need it mid November.

We have a light breakfast and do IOA first. Then a nice lunch (Mythos, NBA City or Margarittville) and hit US in the afternoon when it's hotter as they have many indoor attraction with AC.

We do both in a day even when we have two days. And then do both in the next day too! Our preferred order is IOA first, since we love coasters. We do as much as we can until we need a ride break and then wander over to US where we spend the afternoon. Then it's back to IOA to finish out the night. We've done this plan even on December 31st! We've always managed to get in a lot of rides even during the busiest times doing this.

I always do IOA first. IOA lines get pretty long but early they usually are not busy.

You probably won't need express. You could wait till your there and buy if you need it or just buy it in advance if you feel its worth the money to you and want it all payed off before you go. I love the express but I don't think its worth it for single ride in a day as most the stuff I like there I like to do more then once. So take advantage of single riders when available.

I agree with Johnny D, I always do IOA first, mainly just because it is my favorite park. The themeing there is just incredible. Also, if you are lucky and get through everything at IOA and go to the main Universal park, do everything there, you can go back to IOA and ride a few things over, if you have the time. Not necessarily un heard of if lines are very light.

Hi we always do ioa 1st, but thinking might do other way round next time, as we were so hot we did all the water rides and didn't mind about how wet we got, we then made are way over to us and stopped for lunch at hardrock cafe,where i was frozen as the air con and wet clothes do not mix
