Anywhere to get a one day water park ticket cheaper than directly through Disney?

Annual Passholders can buy tickets for $4 off adults and $3 off children for up to 4 (including the pass holder).

One-day (and two-day) tickets are not offered by WDW to authorized ticket resellers.
So, the availability of buying those at a discount from secondary sources is virtually unavailable.

What about the Official Ticket Center? I looked online and they appear to charge me $248.00 for 4 tickets. I think Disney was like $276, am I missing something here?

What kind of tickets are you purchasing? If you purchase park hoppers, you can simply add the plus option at minimal cost.

One day tickets can be purchased by Undercover Tourist but I priced it out and it was cheaper through WDW directly. Multiple day tickets are cheaper through UT than WDW though.

THIS!! The cheapest way to get water parks if you have hoppers is to just add the plus. It's about $26 to add it to any ticket and then you can go multiple times on a multiple day ticket.

Just needing a one day ticket to Typhoon Lagoon. Originally we weren't going to do any parks, just a resort only trip, but my husband, my oldest child:rolleyes:, really wants to go to a water park at least one day. So we will be doing one day at TL. I am just trying to figure out about The Official Ticket Center online. They "seem" to offer the tickets a little bit cheaper than Disney, but I also know that most people say that can't be the case. I know Robo knows his stuff so I am confused on this one.

It may be that they have some "old stock" tickets that they got before the price increase.
They can sell them at a lower cost. (If so, the tickets will be valid until Dec. 31, 2018.)
But, make sure that the quoted price includes 6.5% tax (and shipping, if needed.)

I will go and double check and report back!

I do believe you are correct. I can't seem to find where it says they expire on December 31, but it does make you state when you are arriving for your trip. But that is what they are. Very legit. I also found some on another site for the same price. But with the Official Ticket Center there is no shipping charge. So each ticket is $62 even. No other fees. How much was a one day water park ticket before the increase? I figure I won't find them any cheaper than this, so I guess I will go ahead and purchase them. Disney wants $277 for four of them, they want $248. Nice size discount for sure.

$62.00, plus tax.

Went ahead and got them. If anyone else needs a one day ticket to TL or BB, this is most likely the cheapest you will find them unless you qualify for another discount of such.

Well I got four adult tickets for a complete total of $248.00. I am pleased with that.

You asked what the price was before the last ticket increase.

My answer to that was $62.00, plus tax.
Just out of curiosity I went back to the OTC website and looked at the one day tickets to the water parks, and they were listed at $65.00 each now. Not sure if I got in on the very last of the older tickets, or perhaps they just didn't have the correct price updated into their system just yet.

I have a tendency to believe they just hadn't loaded the correct price into the system yet, and my order possibly brought it to their attention.
