Do you mean fly there for one day or have a stop as a cruise for one day? Atlantis has all the stuff for a one day stop. Beach, pools, water park, aquarium. Just a beach, you could look at other hotels in the Nassau area. Disney has cruises on the Wonder that stop in Nassau for a day, as well as Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Don't know if I would just fly there for one day though.
Would like to drive to Ft. Lauderdale and do a short cruise from there...any ideas. I'm in Ft. Lauderdale for a short time and would just like to do a cruise there for a day.

We did see some day sails boats at Port Everglades, but not sure what they exactly were or where they went. I will try to remember what they were called. If you do a "normal" cruise, they are usually going to be a few nights, 3 is usually the minimum number of nights for something like RCI or Carnival, etc. Let me see if I can remember what the companies were called when we were there - Discover or something. It has been a while.
