One Day Trip - Are we mad???

Hubby and I are driving over to DLP for our anniversary on 15th December, we decided we would like to spend the day in the parc for our anniversary.

Our Sat Nav tells us its 5 1/2 hours from our house to DLP, so not too bad.

We have a 5am crossing and we will be driving straight to the Disneyland Parc. We plan to spend the whole day in the one parc and not do the Studios so that we can enjoy all the christmasy stuff, shows and parades.

We would like to stay until the parc closes, but im not sure what time this is. Our crossing back is at 10.42pm.

We will arrive home around midnight.

Do you think that is completely crazy???

Not at all!

We have considered doing a day trip ourselves, just because with APs it would be cool to do so, however, since we don't live near any practical airports (Heathrow being the closest I think) we abandoned the idea on cost. I felt that if we were going to pay out £200 or so on transport then we may as well pay a little more and stay somewhere.

If I was prepared to drive, and lived near a port, then I would definitely consider it.

I say go for it, if you can!

Would be there every weekend lol It will be tiring but it will be well worth i think. Go for it and have a wonderful anniversary

I have done day trips before but never on a Saturday. I say go for it but be prepared that it will be very busy

Thats everyone, that makes me feel a little easier.

We know that it will be busy, but are going for the christmas atmosphere more than anything else.

Will post you all a day report and piccies when we get back.

I'd say go for it forget the rides and instead soak up the Christmas atmosphere and maybe have a romantic lunch.
