One day tips

We're scheduled to arrive in Orlando on the 14th early in the moring. We board the Disney Magic on the 15th. We're planning on heading over to the Magic Kingdom for the day. Any special tips, new things or advice for a one day assault on the park?

Have you been there before?
I would look through a guide books and see what attractions yu really want to see and go from there. Crystal Palace is nice to eat at for a charater breakfast.
My favorite is Splash Mountain so I would be sure to catch that one if It was me!!

We've been several times. Last time in December 2002. It's always good to get some tips from recent visitors

I would make sure to see Mickey's Philharmagic at least once...I love it, maybe start by grabbing an FP for there to use later.
