the thing is, i already ordered tickets so had to just get 4 basic ones to get the free dining. Should i just eat the ticket or does it pay to make it a non-expiring? or is there anything else since i probably won't be back within the year?

You can get 1 day ticket...and don't use it and save it for another trip....ticket expires 14 days from 1st use...and you are not using your ticket this trip.

I hope I got this right when I booked. The girl told me that the ticket is on your room key and it expires when you check out unless you add non-expire on to it. I was going to get 4 one day passes for us each and use some while on site and some while off site, and she said they would expire unless I added non expiration to them, so I just got one day tickets for us and we will go while on site.

If you double check this info, cause I could have misunderstood. Let me know what you find out because I will change mine and get more days to use later on during our stay in Florida.

It is still worth getting the FREE dining. We are staying at POP from August 15-19 and got one day tickets, as I wanted to do stuff in the resorts.

so you only need 1 day park tickets but you get free dining for the amount of nights you are staying!

Yes, this is what I did, i have POP Century booked and only had to get a one day ticket to make the package for the free dining. I didn't want to go to the parks every day while we are onsite. I made reservations at the restaurants that we wanted to eat at already. I have 4 nights so I have 4 days of free dining. Its a great deal.

That applied to the old "length of stay" passes that they don't offer any more.

If the ticket does not have an expiration date on it and no published literature is handed to you discussing expiration dates to the contrary (without your asking) along with the ticket, then the ticket is just like any other Magic Your Way pass and it does not expire until 13 days have passed after the day you start using it.

Thanks very much, now i can get a 4 day base ticket instead of 1 day and use the rest while we are offsite. We want to enjoy the resorts this time and do the parks later in the trip.
