Would it be possible to see both the second show of World of Color and the second Paint the Night on the same day? Also, how early should I get to WoC to get a good view (with a FP)?

The current entertainment schedule for DLR shows the second WOC at 10:15pm and the second PTN at 10:45pm. On a crowded day, I think it will be tight getting from Paradise Bay after WOC to DL for PTN. If you want a good viewing spot for WOC, you should be willing to invest up to 90 minutes to get a spot by a railing with either a blue or yellow FP. Being up by a railing will make it harder for you to slip out at the end of the show and head for DL. If you are willing to compromise by viewing WOC at the back of the viewing areas (and perhaps leave before the end of the show), maybe you could beat the crowds and get to DL. But remember that PTN starts its second showing from Town Square, so you really would have to be in place to watch the parade before it starts or you will miss the beginning. Hoping others who have tried this can give you better feedback about recent experiences.

Are you traveling alone? Most folks that have successfully seen closely spaced shows in both parks tended to be solo travelers. Solos can usually move faster and don't need to find as much space to view the show from. Overall, I generally agree with the theluckeyrabbit that you'll have a hard time seeing both shows really well. WoC: Celebrate has a 22 minute run time (according to Disneyland.com), so it means it'll end around 10:37 pm or so. Which gives you less than 10 minutes to get out of that crowd, exit DCA, and hop over to DL before it steps off from Main Street.

I don't know how things are right now (or how they'll be when you are there), but moving around Main Street during the parade isn't the easiest thing to do. You'll probably have to either cut through the stores to get up Main Street (if the bypasses aren't open).
