Wasn't sure what board to post this to saw I thought I would try this board too!

I will be in Orlando on 2/25 & 2/26. We want to do Universal Studios one day and a Disney Park one day (MGM or Animal Kingdom). Where is the cheapest place to buy a one day ticket? Or does anywhere do a combo Universal/Disney pass? I've check AAA, Entertainment, etc.. nothing seems to be too great for a 1 day ticket.

my only guess would be to check the vendors that do ticket sales.
undercover tourist and maple leaf.
if they have any discounts, it would be barely a discount.

i have read on the boards about the ussa tickets youth program.
do a search to bring that up on the threads at disney and universal forums.

both parks don't have a general discount for a one day ticket.

disney will be raising their prices soon, so buy now in order to save a few bucks.
AK and DHS(mgm) will cost $99 when the increase goes through.

i just saw you had a few answers to your same question on the disney boards.
looks like there are no discounts for disney one day tickets.

it might be cheaper for you to buy the 2 day park to park ticket for universal and see both of the parks there.

wish you luck in your search!

There is no way to save by combining Universal and Disney. As mentioned above the best you will do is finding a 2 day pass at universal which you will be able to get for cheaper than the equivalent at Disney. Disney has all that magic stuff but Universal is funner so get a 2 day 2 park pass and enjoy. If you really want to have a great time spend one night in one of the Universal resorts and get front of the line access to all the rides just by showing your room key except in Harry Potter but you will get in an hour early.

The cheapest price I've seen for 1 day tickets is the Annual Pass Discount. But, I don't think it would be worth it to buy one power pass to get a discount on the rest of the tickets. Doubled checked AP discount on Multiday only. After that, the next best is probably AAA if you're a member.

Jeremy are you sure there are discounts on one day tickets? The website stays that there are only AP discounts on multi-day tickets.

The best price I've seen has been usssa.com. This ticket has an expiry date and cannot be upgraded. You have to be very careful when purchasing.

I just looked again and your right. Is is multiday only. With USSSA, I know looking at their webiste they put "Tickets are restricted for use by USSSA participants and their families" in bold print on their order page but I don't know if anybody does any checking.

It sure would make sense if they limited the tickets to participants and their families. I think a lot of people were starting to catch on to the great deal.
