One Day Park Hopper

I was just on the WDW website and came across something. There is obviously an option to get a one day ticket to either The Magic Kingdom, or the other three, but then there is also the option to park hop.

What I am asking is, can you purchase a "cheaper three" one day ticket and then park hop to the Magic Kingdom?

It would be $39 to add park hopper to that one day ticket.

They bridge the cost and the hopper option costs $5 more on the cheaper tickets. The cost is the same either way.

One day adult for one park not including MK is $90 (plus tax)

One day one park adult for MK only is $95

One day adult Park Hopper, which allows all four parks in one day, is $129.

If you start with a one day base, it will cost either $34 or $39 to bring it up to the $129 hopping price.

You can not use another day off a multi-day ticket to hop; so you can not buy a 3-day ticket to visit 3 parks in one day.

She meant buy a cheaper one day ticket at the other three parks add hopping and go to mk. Not buy a three day ticket and use it in one day to visit more parks.

More specifically, 1 day Magic Kingdom, 1 day Epcot or Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, and 1 day hopper (and 1 day base with water park fun and 1 day hopper with WPF) are separate products each with its own price.

To switch from one to another, you pay the difference in price. (The policy is that no change is returned.)
