We have tickets that expire 12/30, but that is our arrival date. I am concerned that if our flight is delayed or the park is at capacity, we will not be able to use the tickets. Any chance that we would be able to use them on 1/1 instead?

I have never heard of a grace period being given on tickets with an expiration date. I think they just expire.

I have had fairly good success here. We have had several 1 day park hoppers over the years and had them expire a few times. Only once was I refused entrance with an expired ticket and that ticket was nearly a year past expiration date. The two other times were no problem but were just a few weeks expired. Good Luck.

Here's what happen. I emailed GS twice, only one answer asking for a phone number. Then after two weeks, I snail mailed a letter with copies of the email. Got a call from GS on 12/1. He asked that I fax a copy of the ticket backs to him. After reviewing the tickets, he agreed to have them exchanged when we got to the parks. 1/1/05, we presented the expired tickets to GS at Epcot and received current tickets.
