One Day One Park Ticket Questions

I'm thinking about buying a couple of one day one park tickets to use during my stay in March. Does anyone know if you can leave the park to go to your room for lunch, for example, and then return later that afternoon? Also, any problems with using them during the extra hours at that park? Thanks.

As you can see by the link below. If you buy a one day ticket and add the park hopping option on (would need this to do what you are asking about), you would be paying:

1 day base ticket $63.63 + 37.28 for the hopper option = $100.91.

With the new ticket system the longer you stay the less you pay per day.

Michigandiver,

Check me message again. I updated it with some useful information.

I was under the impression that you COULD do what the op asked. We will be staying onsite, and purchasing the one day/one park tickets, as we don't care to "hop". I certainly hope I can go back to our room with my little one, so he can take a nap, without having to pay more money to return to the park later in the day. I will be MAD if that is the case!!!! Also, It was my understanding that the extra hour was for resort guest regardless of what type of tickets they purchased, so long as you got your extra hour "pass" or whatever, within two hours of park closing. I read both on all ears I think, stating this. IF this is wrong someone please let us know!!

As far as I know, you can absolutely go back to your room during the day as long as you return to the same park in the evening.

Also, wendypooh, you said you were purchasing the one day/one park tickets. If you're staying for more than one day and going to the parks for more than one day, you shouldn't just buy several one-day tickets. As the number of days you're staying increases, your ticket price decreases, regardless of whether you want the park-hopping option or not. I could be completely misreading your question/response, but you may want to check the thread at the very top of this page RE: Magic Your Way tickets.

Thanks so much, I did word it wrong I guess. We will staying onsite at the POFQ for 5 days, but only going to MK 2 days. We will be going to US/IOA the rest of the time, and on the 6th day, moving over to the RPR.

The disney resorts are a much better deal, price wise than the RPR. I was able to get POFQ for $79.00 a night....... verses, the $119.00 a night (AP) rate at RPR.

I was just worried about what the op said about not being able to "return" to the park, unless we added the hopper option!!! I"m glad that is not the case!

You can definitely return to the same park you attended earlier that day, but make sure you get a hand stamp on your way out. On your return, you will need to show your ticket and the stamp. As for the extra hours, as long as you are a resort guest, you can take advantage of the extra time.
