One Day MK Planning

Trying to plan out one day for me and DD (age 5) at MK. I can't book FP yet so this is a loose draft. Now that the parade is at 2 instead of 3 I am not sure how much I can fit in. We like to sit in frontierland to view the parade. I've been torn between starting in adventureland or fantasyland. Usually we start fantasyland. This is what I have so far--suggestions appreciated!

When we were there about a week ago, I happened to notice that the "meet and greets" were pretty consistently unavailable as 4th fast passes. If your daughter really wants to meet Tink, you might consider making that your 2nd or 3rd fast pass, and then trying for Pirates as a 4th FP (Pirates and HM both had good availability as 4th and even 5th FPs when we were there).

Your plan looks very doable to me. I would start in Fantasyland, the way you have the plan listed above, so that you hit PP first thing. That line gets long very early on.

I agree with the previous comment. If the M&G's are a priority for you and your daughter, then using fastpasses there instead of either HM & Pirates is a good idea. I've also always had no issue picking up either of those attractions with a 4th and beyond FP.

If you do Tink first, the line will already be pretty long by the time you get there. But iujen94 is correct-- the princess/character meets are the hardest to get as a 4th, after 7DMT. You could get it as a 4th FP with some refreshing, but you would need some luck to get it at a time that would work. PoC is easy to get as a 4th for immediate use. If you're coming back after a break, I'm sure you could get one for Tink scheduled then, though, and do it on your way back in.

I would do Pooh before iasw. Its line builds faster.

You have "princesses"-- I'd schedule a FP for one of the princess meets. So FP Belle, a princess meet, and HM. Then I'd 4th FP iasw, 5th FP PoC, and schedule a 6th FP for Tink after your break. If you aren't coming back after a break, I'd resign yourself to walking back there and use a prescheduled FP.

What about taking the train from Main Street to Frontierland? That would put you about halfway between either Pirates or HM and cut down on the walking (plus make for a fun extra ride). I would definitely go straight to PP at rope drop and not stop for Tink - the PP line builds fast. Of course, you could always do Tink at rope drop (if she's there that early?) and have your FPs be PP, Enchanted Tales and either HM or Pirates (with the other being a 4th FP).

Yes. We have never done the wait with our daughter but there are some interactive parts she might like. Or, we could skip Haunted. Previously it has been her favorite and we have done it multiple times. I am trying to fit in some rides this time she has not done before (such as Pooh).

Even for one day, I like to use the unofficial guide touring plans to get a good idea of what I can fit in and what a good order would be. Love those plans!

My DD did not like thunder and splash last trip. They terrified her. Under the sea wasn't a big hit either. This is our only MK day.

How does this look? Also do they still have the opening show in front of the castle? Is it crazy to try to see this then backtrack to Tinker bell? Maybr we should not do princess FP and do that with Tinker bell later?

I would do Tales with Belle as a FP and walk on at HM. There are things to play with in the HM queue.
