One Day in November just to do Harry Potter

Three crazy girls - looking to do one day just to do Harry Potter and maybe new Jimmy Fallon ride - do we need the express pass? - we are not staying on site. Planning Nov 5 --sunday - can't get there for opening we are coming straight from airport - is there anyplace to store our luggage? Would we be better off doing it Monday or Tuesday?

If you do not want to purchase Express passes, Monday or Tuesday with getting there early would be better. The Harry Potter areas are also manageable in the last hour before closing. If you want to maximize your time, try Monday or Tuesday. I also have no clue where you could store luggage unless it fits in a day of rental locker. (backpack size?).
