How much value does one of these have? I'm clueless as we have always had passes either SP or AP's since we moved to Florida in 87'. I have three of these and don't know how much to sell them for or ebay them for.... help! Thanks. I hope this post is ok, if not please delete.

They are adult, 1 day hoppers

How much is a one day ticket? I assume it will not go above the 1 day ticket (even it is a hopper), however, we have seen Q&C vouchers consistently sold above the hotwire price.

However, a more difficult question is how much should the ticket be listed. If you list it for too high, people may not bid on it, as there is a higher risk in bidding a disney ticket on Ebay because we would not be able to confirm the ticket until we visit disney. On the other hand, if you list it too low and given that there may not be too many people bid on the ticket, it may be snatched by someone who does not mind to take a chance. Not sure whether you want to list as a low price but use a reserve price or just use Buy it now.

Either way, best of luck.

I'm not sure how much you shuld start the listing for, but if you are worried about not getting a fair price for it. You could always list it with a reserve price so that you won't get riped off. Good luck!

I have relatives in Florida (live in the Daytona Beach area). When I had extra hopper days left (and assumed I'd NEVER use them again), I gave the passes to the relatives. They, in turn, gave them to other relatives to use when they came to visit and only wanted to go to WDW for one or two days. I know, I know, please don't give me the "nontransferable" lecture...

In any case, have you thought about treating out-of-town guests with them? Or sell them to your guests at a good price for both of you ($40-50 each)?

Just an idea...

There are a lot of people who would pay more than the cost of a 1-day/1-park ticket for a 1-day PH. You can do a search on eBay for completed auctions and see what the original bids were and what the final selling price was. It should give you an idea of what to price them for. I would also list each one separately, rather than s single listing of 3 1-day PHs. I think you'll get a better price for them that way.

I wish I could give them away, we wanted to take our DNiece this month when they come back from Michigan but we need to fix our van and pay bills so I have to sell them... :(
They are just 1day hoppers adults, they were not part of a 3 day or any other pass.

Is it ok to sell tix on EBAY, legally I mean, because I think on the ticket it says it can not be resold, I think I remember hearing somewhere you have to sell it in "something" like buy this hat, get a disney tix free.... etc.

if it is legal to resell them... how 'bout instead of ebay try selling them on the disboard auctions?

That's a good idea! I am looking for 4-1 day water park passes.....I'll check there, too. Thanks!

It's not legal to sell them. Are you sure they're unrestricted 1 day hoppers? AFAIK Disney doesn't sell 1 day hopper tickets. AFAIK 1 day hoppers are either CM tickets, possibly a convention ticket or a promotional ticket. It might have an expiration date or be otherwise limited. Check before you sell.

Just looked they do have an exp date, August 31st... how would I go about trying to sell these then, isn't there away around it, like I said before 'I'm selling a hat and as a bonus you get...."
Please no flames, just desperate to make some cash to fix our car and running out of options. :(

Then go list them, what are you waiting for? It is already end of July...
Sell an envelop which has a 1 day ticket...
If it were for me, I will likely list it as is.

However, I still haven't decided what a fair price it should be.
Again, if it were too high, I am concerned there is no bidder, but you don't want to sell it for too low either, too high a reserve will not help. You don't have too much time to relist. Your buyer pool is somewhat limited (say for those who plan to go WDW before Aug 31 and don't mind taking a one-day pass even they may need more days. You also have to decide whether you want a 7 day or a 3 day listing. You also have to give yourself time to send the ticket. I suspected not too people will go to ebay and look for a 1 day ticket, hence it is unlikely to have a decent bidder pool.

Did you search e-bay to see what this kind of ticket sold for?

I am just making a suggestion here so that other people can have something to comment on and hopefully we get a better solution.
a. what about put in the DIS auction board? (I have no experience with this)
b. For e-bay, what about a starting price of $20 without reserve? will you be happy with $20 with a 3 day and 7 day listing? note that ebay will charge you, you don't really get $20. if no one wants to buy at $20, you may need to adjust accordingly. Note that the whole economic is supply and demand, if it can't sell at that price, may be there is no demand. Personally, I do not like reserve too much. It costs more if it doesn't sell and I hate guessing game.
c. Can you also list it locally in some supermarket , YMCA or offices?
d. can you do them (b and c) simultaneously (say with E-bay, I don't know the implication of pulling out from ebay after it has been listed, I think it may be okay to pull them out if no one bids on the item at least I had seen some sellers did that).

Comments?? Suggestions??

i would try to sell local--grocery store, newspaper, hair salons, offices, anywhere public! you never know who might have someone coming to visit and they are looking for a day pass!! i didn't realize they sold (at one point) one day hoppers.... maybe this will help...back in 1988 i was at WDW with my family for disney's 15th anniversary celebration. without making a long story longer, i actually WON a free ticket (from disney) for a one day (1 park=no hopping) admission. the value of said ticket at that time was $19~ :crazy2: now it's worth almost $60 :faint: and i am using it in a couple of weeks! :Pinkbounc maybe this will help with what kind of price you should ask......
good luck!!:wave2:

I had my auction on ebay cancelled when i tried to sell my plus options i had left.

Even though there were LOTS more auctions that had new hoppers, used hoppers and pluses :(

So, just be aware your auction may be cancelled on you. I even had them cancel one that had ended!

So, now i`m stuck with six tickets with one plus each on them that will never be used because we don`t do waterparks. :o

A 1 day/ 1 park ticket is $58.31. You'd expect a hopper to sell for more BUT your tickets expire soon and most people want more than 1 day. The difference between a 4 and a 5 day hopper is only about $30 so someone wanting a 5 day hopper wouldn't want to pay more than $30 for your ticket. MAKE SURE your tickets aren't restricted (FL resident for example).

You might try E-Bay, but E-Bay may close your auction. Your best bet is to find a friend who is going and have them buy your tickets.

I have put a request in to one of the moderators as to whether used passes can be listed at the DISauctions....they will get back to me soon and I will post the answer.

I need one day tickets!

We're going 8/26-8/30 and not planning to go to any of the major parks, only DQ and maybe TL. But if I picked up a couple one day tickets cheap enough, DH might be swayed into a day at the MK, my favorite! DD still has 2 days left on an old hopper, the rest of us (me, DH, DS & other DD) could use one day tickets. Heck, I'd even go to MK with just me and my two DD and leave the guys at the hotel! I know I can buy one day tickets at the gate, but buying 4 will still cost us over $200!

I've emailed this 2girlsinheaven, but haven't gotten a response. Anyone with any single day tickets or plus options they want to sell - Email Me Soon. We leave on 8/26!

I guess it cannot be recommended to put partially used passes on the DISauction. I understand they are not supposed to be resold. I was hoping to find "left overs" with water park passes on them and I would rather use the DISauction than eBay. Arrangements privately would be the solution, I suppose.
