We've been to WDW many times before, but our last visit was over 5 years ago. Now DD-9 can ride everything, but we only have one day there. I was thinking of visiting two parks, one is definitely Animal Kingdom. Any advice from you wonderful experts on which attractions we should hit. We plan to be at the park before opening (of course :) ), then heading to the other park in the early evening. I know that MK is a favorite of most people, but for DD, MGM or Epcot attractions will be more to her liking. All suggestions will be muchly appreciated. Thank you.

Although I don't consider myself an expert, based on my DS preferences when he got old enough to ride everything, I would recommend MGM if your DD9 is a thrill seeker. The only real "thrill" ride I think is at EPCOT is Mission: Space and that's more of the look at the screen and pretend kind of thrill. I don't really consider Test Track a thrill ride, because most of it is just going through car tests. The few seconds that you speed around the track just doesn't make it a thrill ride IMO. Of course, when we do go to EPCOT, we always go on it. But at MGM you have RNR and TOT. You can't beat the takeoff of RNR for thrills. :thumbsup2 And I love the fact that on TOT you most likely won't get the same ride twice (at least in a row). And even though you're looking for thrills, I highly recommed One Man's Dream at MGM. Very neat stuff to look at and the movie is really interesting. A very underrated attraction. HTH.

My DD9 says MGM for the best "thrill rides" She love RNR and Tower of Terror. She can't wait to have some one to ride EE with (I won't do it!)

The back lot tour is fun too, not a thrill ride, but I always enjoy it.

If it were me and my 9 and 11yo our choice would be AK in the AM and MGM in the evening. We did this in February and it went well! At the AK we managed, EE 2x Primevil Whirl, Tricaratops, Dinsaour, Safari and the FOTLK as well as a short walk through two of the trails.

We had plenty of time to stop back at the Dolphin and refresh before heading to MGM where we hit RnRC, TOT, Muppets, Millionaire and Star Tours. Due to a 50's prime time ADR we missed LMAC but with better planning we would have been able to make a show. We did stay for Fantasmic!

This was on a Friday during Presidents day week, no EMH at either MGM or AK.

My dd's 2nd choice would be MK in the AM and MGM in the evening so they could ride the MK Mountains and a few other fun things.
