One Day Available - Which Park - Why?

We spend one day at one park each year after our cruise. Last year we did Epcott. We're trying to decide for this year. Which park would you choose and why? Any tips on getting the most out of one park in one day???

We have three dd's ages 17, 11, & 9. Disney Grandma and Grandpa will be with us as well.

Gosh, that's hard! Epcot is my first choice, but you've already done that!

I think the Magic Kingdom is TRULY Disney, and what people think of when they think of Disney. So I would do that, if only allowed one visit. There are plenty of rides and attractions to fill an entire day there, and I feel the most Disney magic there.

MGM has some great rides that your kids would probably love, but we don't need a full day to do that park anymore. Same wtih AK... not a full day park to us.

I would do MK...If just one day.

I love AK but unless you have old hoppers that you are using to go to another park later it's not worth it.

MK is my choice

I think u should definitely consider going to Disney Magic Kingdom. Cause it is truely magical. But thats my opinion. However if your kids are adventureous you should also consider Universal or Islands of Adventure. These parks have many coasters and such. But I myself would go with Magic Kingdom cause I personally am into the charaters.(not a coaster person) Good luck deciding!

frankly i enjoyed Animal Kingdom much more than Magic Kingdom. Maybe b/c Magic Kingdom just reminded me a lot of Disneyland, and I'd already been there twice.

But actually in your situation I would check on the exact day you'll be in the park, and see if that day rates as the "busiest" at the park you want. Eg if it's a Monday, don't hit MK - it's insanity.

Your are going in Sept when the parks won't be too busy. I'd choose the MK. Something for everyone.

Anyone recommend MGM.. That was my choice. Untill now.

We only have 2 days devoted to Disney parks this year and we chose MK immediately and Epcot after some thought. I'm excited about seeing Mickey's Philharmagic and the new fireworks show. MGM is fun but it really hasn't changed much in a very long time and some things are closed now so we decided to hold off on it.
