Doing one night at the Art of Animation in June for my daughter who has been begging to stay there for years. We have a Cars room booked. Any advice, tips, ect on what all to do there for an enjoyable resort only day. The pool of course, but what else would you advise?

Definitely have a walk around the entire resort and take lots of photo's as the theming there is amazing. I felt like a little child myself when I stayed there. And check the activity calendar to see if they've got any activities you can participate in.

Yep, I like the Cars and Lion King theming near the pool for pictures, as well as the drawings on the lobby wall.

The quick service dining has some interesting options. Even if I'm staying elsewhere, I'll sometimes drop by for a surf and surf burger and dessert.

Find the "recreation calendar" pdf for May at Kenny the Pirate's site - it will be approx. the same in June (sometimes nightly movie move a bit later towards summer). They used to have an animation lesson periodically - that schedule would list such things.

We spent one night there the year it opened to do what you are; we had dinner, spent time at the pool, walked around, and took a ton of pics. We stayed in a Little Mermiad room/suite. Its a darling resort.
