One day at Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone

My DH, DS (9) and I will be coming down to FL for a wedding on 3/3/18. We are staying an hour away from Orlando. We are only spending the weekend. We are leaving on Sunday, 3/4/18 but the flight doesn't leave until 7:20pm. We wanted to spend the day at Magic Kingdom. My question is where can I buy a 1day ticket at the cheapest price? I was thinking of going to AAA.

Can I make fast pass reservations just for the day? 30 days out which I'm already passed?

Also, we had plans to come in July but due to my mom's health issues we may push it to November but that hasn't been finalized so I don't want to buy more days since they will expire unless I am misinformed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think AAA would be the best place to look. Not sure if discount 1 day tickets are available.

If you link your tickets to MDE you can book FP+.

AAA prices are no cheaper than the gate for 1 day. You only see discounts if you get 3 or more days. You can book Fast Passes as soon as you buy tickets though!

You're right, more days would expire since the ticket is only good for like 2 weeks or so after your first use. You can make FP reservations as soon as you buy a ticket and link it to your MDE account.

There are no discounts for one day tickets.
