Hubby and I and another couple will be going to Epcot for a day next week. We have bought our ticket online and have made our reservation. It all shows up on the Disney website. My email confirmation shows a bar code to scan to be admitted to the park.
We have not been there for 2 years and are so excited but I am not sure how things will work now. Can you still stand in line to get into attractions? Can i just wait in line to go on the ride in Living with the Land and for Test track? I think I saw something about the Virtual queue for Ratatoullie. Is it worth it for adults? Can you only do the the queue thru a disney app or on the website?
we love to walk around and sample the foods and have a drink or three. Really looking forward to this.
Sorry for all the questions but want to make sure I know what I am doing...

Thanks so much

For all rides in Epcot except Ratatouille, you can simply get in line and wait. If you want to pay $15 per person, you can get Genie+ which allows you to get quicker access to 1 ride at a time (for most rides) or pay individually for a Lightning Lane Pass allowing quicker access to Frozen Ever After or Ratatouille, but that is not necessary if you're willing to wait.

As of now, the only ways to ride Ratatouille are to sign up online for a Virtual Queue or to pay for a Lighning Lane Pass.

Signing up online for a Virtual Queue has no additional cost. You will be given a group number and notified by text when your group number is eligible to ride. If you don't want to monitor texts, you can walk by and see what group numbers are currently eligible. Once a group number is called, there will still be some waiting in line before reaching the boarding area.

My husband and I really enjoyed the ride. We purchased a Lighning Lane pass for a specific time frame, which allowed us to board within a few minutes once we arrived during that time frame.

Happy planning!
