I'm looking for recommendations for a TS restaurant at DTD that accepts the Dining Plan. It must require only one credit. Thanks!

Chef de France, Le Cellar, Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose. Biergarden, A lot of places only take 1TS that are good....it depends on what type of food you will like!

Hmm.....at Downtown Disney? I agree with Raglan Road (although I've never eaten there but heard great reviews.

Here's a list of restaurants that take one TS at Downtown Disney:

Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant, Planet Hollywood,
Raglan Road Irish Pub, Wolfgang Puck Express

I've heard rave reviews from Earl of Sandwich too but it's a CS restaurant. We hate at Wolfgang Puck restaurant and paid out of pocket and had a horrible dinner but it was after 9:30 p.m. so not sure if that had anything to do with it. Wolfgang Puck Express is popular too.

my friend said that T-Rex takes the dining plan in DTD, but i had heard it was not on the plan (similar to Rainforest Cafe).

Does anyone know if it is on the dining plan or not?

Wolfgang Puck Express is 1 QS. Wolfgang Puck Café is 1 TS. (And Wolfgang Puck Upstairs is not on the dining plan.)

Were trying both Ragland and WPC next week. Only other places we've eaten at DTD are Earl of Sandwich (awesome!) and WPX which was also quite good.

We always eat at Planet Hollywood the day we arrive at Disney. It is a good meal and is only 1ts. The only thing DH complains about is that you have to share a dessert. I think we all prefer Raglan Road, it is great food, nice desserts, and the atmosphere is pretty neat. Dinner time has some live music and dancing, can be loud, but PH is very loud all the time. WGP is better as a QS, it is basically the same food without the waiter, so save the ts there. We dont care for captn jacks, ate there once and thats it. We always eat at PH and RR. GL HTH

I think it was our favorite meal all week. Nothing fancy but the steaks were so yummy. It is one credit. The kids pizzas were really good and if you don't have big eaters they could share. They were super big.

Wolfgang Puck Express is 1 QS. Wolfgang Puck Café is 1 TS. (And Wolfgang Puck Upstairs is not on the dining plan.)

Thank you. I was needing this information. I never could figure out what was on the dining plan, what was QS, what was TS. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I'm going to let my family look at the menus and decide.

We enjoyed Captian Jack's. food was good, and service was amazing. They created a dish for my picky DS!!!!

Tilly - thanks for clarifying my earlier reply! I misread that Wolfgang Express was TS but after looking at the 2009 Disney Dining Plan Restaurant list, I see that it is a CS. What a goof I am sometimes - can't wait to pick up my new pair of glasses next week!! :lmao:

Raglan Road and Wolfgang Puck Cafe are both good but I think Wolfgang is a better value and a better menu.

We ate at Wolfgang Pucks Cafe on our last trip and it was everyone's new favorite restaurant which surprised me because it doesn't always get the best reviews. On the other hand we ate at Raglan Road a few years ago because of all the good reviews on the DIS and none of us liked it, not even my DH who is really in to Irish music.

I'm glad to now know which restaurants are on the DDP. I never can find that info.

It just seems like everyone has such different opinions. I guess I'm just going to have to do a poll to see which one wins out!
